Digix URL Watch privacy and data
Publisher: DigixData. Applies to Free version 0.1.0. Effective date: 2026-10-07.
Data on your WordPress site
Digix URL Watch runs on the WordPress site where you install it. It makes inventories of native published, non-password-protected posts and pages for administrator reports. Inventories contain post IDs, public titles, permalinks, post types and modification timestamps. Scan status, scheduling settings and aggregate job information are also stored in plugin-owned tables and options in that site's database. It does not copy post bodies, author profiles, visitor activity, orders or account details.
Transfers and other services
The plugin makes no external HTTP requests, sends no email, has no telemetry and does not send inventories or reports to DigixData or another service. Your WordPress installation and host can process their own requests, backups, logs and updates separately. Installing this plugin does not change their policies.
Access and CSV downloads
Only users with the site's administrator capability can access its dashboard and CSV downloads. Reports are streamed through protected WordPress administration requests; the plugin does not place CSV in the Media Library or a public file directory. Once downloaded or shared, your copy is controlled by you and the destination you choose.
Retention and historical metadata
The two most recent completed inventories are kept. Working scans and the latest attempt may coexist temporarily until bounded cleanup finishes. Historical change reports can contain a title or URL that was public when captured but was later removed or unpublished. Native WordPress visibility does not identify every restriction imposed by membership or access-control plugins; site operators should review reports before sharing them.
Pausing and removal
Pausing weekly scans retains inventories. Deactivation stops plugin jobs and retains data. Deleting the plugin through WordPress removes its inventory tables, settings and scheduled jobs; it does not remove native WordPress content. Previously downloaded CSV, host backups and other copies are outside that removal and follow the site's own practices.
Privacy requests and support
DigixData cannot retrieve or erase inventory data held only on your site. For access, correction or removal concerning that site's data, contact its operator. For product or privacy questions or a private security report, contact support@digixdata.com. Send plugin, WordPress and PHP versions and a redacted description. Do not send passwords, whole database dumps or unredacted CSV. If you use a public support forum, your message is publicly visible; avoid private URLs. The privacy overview describes support email and legal-site hosting separately.
License and version changes
Digix URL Watch 0.1.0 is distributed under GPLv2 or later, as stated in the package. This release has no paid add-on, checkout or license service. We update this disclosure if the plugin's actual data handling changes.
